It doesn't matter that Violator is a villain, it's a really shitty thing to do. I don't see my muse as a joke or a gross-out character. If you wanna pick a fight with him, do it because he's a shitty person, not because he looks a certain way.That being said, I'm still not a huge fan of fights being picked out of the blue, especially for first interactions. Violator is extremely dangerous & your character will likely not walk away unscathed. If you want our characters to duke it out, I'd prefer to plot beforehand.My character is not nice. ABOUT VIOLATOR

Because Spawn is not the most consistently-written comic in the world, I consider my portrayal canon divergent. I pick and choose which pieces of characterization work for my Vi and discard the rest.I primarily focus on Vi's portrayal from the first 100 issues, and occasionally the "Thousand Clowns" arc from 133 to 138. While there are parts of the Jim Downing saga I like, I probably won't be mentioning it unless it's necessary for a storyline.I am up to date with the current Spawn comics & I like them, but don't have any plans to explore the current, split-identity rendition of Vi just yet. I don't mind it, it's just not my first choice. I much prefer old-school Violator.Furthermore, I take a lot of inspiration from Alan Moore's interpretation of the character from his Violator mini-series, which suggests Vi had a rougher past than he lets on and maybe even a little humanity too. Vi is a terrible person, but I do not subscribe to the notion he is 100% evil and think he has certain moral limitations.As far as my Vi goes, he strongly dislikes hurting children and animals and finds sexual predators reviling. (Let's not forget he shot a pedophile point-blank in the animated series after calling him a worthless sack of shit!)It should also be noted that my Vi is a "freelance" demon. He's still destructive and a schemer in his own right, but (unless we plot otherwise) he no longer has any ties to Malebolgia.How friendly or antagonistic Vi is with Al Simmons roleplayers depends on the other writer's characterization & how their Al treats Violator.I do ship Violator with Al & Jason Wynn, just FYI, & firmly believe Vi feels an attraction to both of them. I'll never pressure anyone into shipping with me, especially given the toxic nature of these relationships in canon; this is just me letting other roleplayers know yes, you can approach me about these pairs if you like.However, that doesn't necessarily mean I'll ship with your version of either muse. There needs to be chemistry.I'm open to pairing Vi off with pretty much any of the recurring male characters from Spawn (Sam, Twitch, Terry, Chapel, etc), but draw the line at Malebolgia & Jim Downing. My Violator views both of these characters through a familial lens & to be totally honest, I just don't like Jim very much. LOL.My most important point of divergence, I think, is that Violator has been influenced by specific humans and even keeps a few in his life.
